In Memory

Bullet - passed away in March 2009. He was the most magnificent dog, with a chest size of over a meter. An excellent watchdog who didn't discriminate. He was the "house dog". We would have liked to use him in our breeding program, but for the fact that he had 3-4 hips, we made the decision to retire him from breeding duties even before he sired any litters.

Lahka - was an offspring of Brandy and Rinkhals, and Mafuta's litter sister. She died during a caesarian operation, which we still believe was due to the fact that it was only an intern attempting such a delicate operation and didn't have enough experience to do this. We raised her 14 pups with the assistance of her mother Brandy, who had 6 pups 3 days before Lahka went in for the emergency C-section. She had an excellent temperament which she carried over to her pups. Lahka appraised 86,

Mafuta - R.I.P. Mafuta has become blind due to an accident. The pressure in his eyes has become as such that it was too painful for him to carry on. We had 6 wonderful years with Mafuta, the gentle, smiling giant. I know you feel much better now.

Brandy - "Ou Vettie". She said good-bye to us on the 12th of December. I am sure she is running around with her two children and her old friend, Bullet, in "Doggy-heaven". There is no pain, no suffering, only joy. Thanks for raising and training all the "young boys", and for being such a loving pet and family member for 9 years. Your legend will live on at Bundu Valley.

Titus - was bought as a puppy from us about 9 years ago. He was an excellent companion and friend to his family. He passed away in April 2009.

Stompie Luma - He was too young to go, but there was no choice. Stompie, may you rest in peace in Doggy Heaven.

Bundu Valley Aslan - He was the darling of his "mother", Nash's heart. A gentle giant who took after his dad, Mafuta. A dreadful disease took hold of him. One not common in Boerboels and no real cure. Nash, thank you for being such a great "mom" to Aslan in his short life. He will be greatly missed. He will always be on his favourite beach. RIP Aslan.
